Salmon have a fascinating life history, where they are hatched in freshwater streams and rivers, make their adult transition in the ocean, and then return to spawn as reproductively mature adults at their hatching location. The damming, altering, and destruction of rivers and streams detrimentally effect the survival of these species.  This piece was created to increase an awareness and entice conversations about this issue.
